Sunday was an open house at the Ridgeville Corners' Fire Station. They really know how to have an open house. They got the Life Flight helicopter to come.
Here it is coming in.
They landed in the yard beside the fire station, and I say yard because that is all it was. It was so close to Route 6 they stopped traffic.
Oliver checked out all their fire trucks. We have some friends on the department there and they told us Ridgeville has real fire trucks because they are red, not white like Wauseon's. (Wauseon is never going to live that one down) Of course Oliver had to ask where their ladder truck was. They don't have one, instead they have a 3000 gallon tanker truck. It was a big as a ladder truck, but we forgot to get a picture of it.
We got to go on a ride in this one. It was great.
Oh yeah, by the way, Tessa had her first haircut Sunday night too. Poor 3rd kid, we almost forgot to say anything or take pictures. Just a little off the front Grandma.
