We got a generous dusting of snow for the new year. The kids insisted on heading out to play in it. I let them bundle themselves up and head out with strict instructions to stay in the backyard.
They had a lot of fun making roads.
Even the sand toys had to come out to play.
And of course hot chocolate was in order when they returned inside.
They opened the packets and stirred the chocolate in themselves.
Tessa waited almost an hour before drinking hers so it could cool.
Mom wouldn't let me go out to play so I wouldn't let her catch me smiling on camera.
