Ear Sparkles

We have known since Tessa was born that she has some degree of hearing loss in one ear.  We discovered more recently that she has severe hearing loss i.e. she can only hear very loud noises such as lawn mowers in her right ear.  She has always compensated very well and her speech has developed well, but we decided with starting school that now was the time.

We had her fitted with a hearing aid through a state grant which allows us to have the aid, which insurance doesn't cover, for free.  She was super excited, dancing in the halls excited.

She chose a purple sparkley ear mold.  The aid itself is brown and matches her hair.
