This week

Grandma wanted the kids to pose in their Hawaii outfits when we picked them up on Sunday. They really did look cute, but it was very difficult to get them to all sit still and look in the same general direction. Oliver really had the Hawaiian surfer look going on with his big belly sticking out.

Madalyn wanted a picture with Natalie next to the post, but this is what we had to settle for, especially after she clunked Natalie in the head, on accident.

Just before we left for Akron last weekend, our dishwasher really started making loud noises, so we decided it was time to replace our 15 year-old model for a newer, much quieter version. Here is our installation crew and their apprentices.

Oliver, ever curious, got himself wedged between the wall and our end table the other night. He still thought it was funny and hammed it up for the camera from that position.

Oliver is quite the eater, but when he's done, he's done and the dishes need to be cleared quickly. Last night, he took matters intos his own hands and cleared his plate himself. The cup often lands in this convenient "cup holder" or in the flap of his bib.

Check out my new haircut.
