All Natalie wanted for Easter was a chocolate bunny. The Easter bunny delivered.

We did not indulge in this sugary treat before breakfast although Mom did make some super yummy stuffed french toast before church.

The Meyer's stopped last week for a quick visit. We couldn't convince Heidi to join the boys for a picture. Natalie really enjoyed being the oldest and showing everyone her room and her toys. Cole was staying over with his grandparents and missed all the fun.

p.s. Heidi we still have your Hello Kitty bracelet.

p.p.s. Thank you Aunt Kim and Uncle JJ for the awesome Easter presents. Sorry we haven't gotten a snail mail note to you. It's sitting on our desk collecting dust. The princess window clings are the only Easter decorations still up at our house.


Natalie is a very creative kid and the other day she wanted to make a mask out of a paper plate. Then she asked me to cut out eye holes which she made by tracing a tupperware lid. She free-handed the mouth and nose. Then she asked me to tie a string around the back so the mask would stay on. I thought this was super creative and very intelligent for a four year-old to come up with on her own, then I found out that last week on Sid the Science Kid, Sid made masks out of paper plates. So she's just a very observent copy-cat. Oh well, at least she's learning something from the TV and not it's not four letter words.



Yesterday, while Natalie was at school, I had to take care of our collection of random drawings, etc. Here is her Easter egg from school.

This one is super cute and very sentimental, unfortunately, crushed egg shell does not stay glued down very well and so this had to be disposed of. We do have several pictures though. Anyway, this was created on grandparents day. The top set of hand prints belong to Grandma Stierwalt and Grandma Seibert. How cool!
