Vacation Day 3

In an attempt to take advantage of free babysitting, we snuck out to take Tessa on her birthday date.  Everyone gets their own personal Mom and Dad only date for their birthday.  We took Tessa out for breakfast in Carmel.

She got to color her placemat before she ate.  Pancakes were her menu choice.

Then we spent the afternoon at the Monon Center outdoor water park.  They had a little kids play area, a bigger kids play area, two water slides, a lazy river, a lap pool, and a boogie boarding pool.  We had a lot of fun especially since Mom and Dad had free passes from their half marathon this spring.  Even C woke up from her nap long enough to cool off.

The five year-olds causing trouble together.

Tessa played on this slide for a long time.  She kept going round and round while everyone else was off on the bigger kid playground.  Mom was stuck there with C taking a nap so Tessa could play all she wanted.  Mom did meet two very friendly preschoolers who were apparently on their own pretty much who asked for a towel and a drink of water.  Hmm?

These two got a good case of the goofs mid-afternoon.

To cap off our day of fun Uncle Jim picked up some pizza on the way home and we made some more homemade ice cream with hot fudge sauce.  Definately worth the belly ache.
