The Adventures of Flad Dad Continued

Day 2

On Sunday we buckled Flat Dad back in the van for a quick  trip to Fremont for a Stierwalt family picture.  After mass we ventured out to eat again (twice in one week).  Uncle Kyle and Aunt Rachel made a yummy brunch just for us.

Note to real Dad...check out what you missed.  French toast, biscuits and gravey, sausage egg bake, and hash browns.  You also missed chocolate chip pancakes.  Oliver continues to rib Uncle Kyle about how he feels they were a little overdone i.e. burnt.  Kyle maintains they were not.

From here it gets a little crazy.  Must have been the chocolate for breakfast.  Note to Uncle Kyle for the suggestion box...you might want to put a warning on the pancakes next time about how you're not responsible for activity like this and/or tongues that might turn blue.  Or maybe you are responsible for this.  Oh and we forgot to put our suggestion for a revolving door in your suggestion box too.  Anway I guess someone got ahold of the camera and took Flat Dad on a joy ride.

Again not sure what was in the pancakes.

So the family picture was short a few family members, but still contained enough so that not everyone was ever looking in the same direction or smiling at the same time.  Needless to say our original idea of a Grandma and Grandpa picture might be what shows up in the political propaganda.

Or maybe this goofiness will win the election for us.

Next we stopped off at the Yacht Club to cool off.  We kept Flat Dad away from the water, but he still enjoyed his visit.

Chilling out in the sun.

So that graduation party we thought was on Saturday was actually on Sunday.  We still were able to stop in for an appearance and brought "Dad" along for the fun.  He did miss out on the cake though.

Tori had no idea what we were up to, but she was still willing to pose with our flat friend.
