Day 3
Monday started out much like any other Monday at our house as of late. We got a back-up beeper alarm and then the clunking and noise began. Oliver embraces this construcion with open arms and an often be found in front of a window watching the action like ESPN. Today he took Dad with him for an update.
Then they polished off the baked oatmeal. You really missed out not-so-flat Dad.
Then Dad cleaned the tub. No one in our house particularly likes this domestic duty, but it had to be done.
Traditionally when Dad is away the kids are allowed to get out the hippopatamus tent and possibly sleep in the basement. Everyone got in for a quick mid-morning "nap".
Then we broke out the Legos since C was napping.
For dinner we made pizza lasagna rollups. They got multiple thumbs up from the peanut gallery.
After all this fun and excitement we capped off our evening at the ballpark. Natalie especially enjoyed her experience and there was definately no complaining about anything even the nearby playground that she was not allowed to visit.
Dad took the easy route and hitched a ride with C for th walk to the park.
And was carefully shoved in the "trunk" for the ride home.
