Day 4
Tuesday brought out Mom's secret stash of recyclables-boxes, toilet paper tubes, etc. She let everyone create what they could with the big pile. Oliver let Dad help him out.
In the midst of that mess Mom was upstairs trying to do dishes. Natalie brought Dad up to lend a hand.
Madalyn built this rocket and we sent Dad off on his very own space adventure.
And of course the Legos came back out.
C tried to read Dad a story or maybe it was the other way around.
Tuesday afternoon we made cutout cookies. Again Dad missed out on some good food. Our intention was to share our cookies with our neighbors to make them smile in the midst of our construction mess.
Here's the finished product. Hopefully Dad didn't eat any.
