The Adventures of Flat Dad

Day 1

Flat dad is in charge.  He will drive.  Where's his seat belt?  He better get his driving lissons   I don't think  he can reach the stearing wheel.  He looks like he's going to Hawaii.

Flat dad sits in the back seat with Natalie and Oliver. Buckle up!

We went to care and share. Flat dad came with us.

Flat dad builds a lego tow truck with Natalie.

All done. Lets drive to the city.

Silly faces! Evie and Annalise came over before dinner. Where's Cecelia's silly face.Is dad being funny.

We went to Mom's diner for dinner.Natalie had pizza. Tessa had grilled chesse. And Oliver had a hamburger.

*Up to this point Natalie has written and typed the corresponding comments for this post.  When she stopped last she wanted to know if I could take over the typing and she'd just tell me what to type.  We haven't had a chance to sit down together lately and it's bugging me that this post is just hanging here so at the risk of getting in big, BIG trouble I'm going to finish it...

Natalie shared some cheesey breadsticks with Flat Dad.

Tessa and Flat Dad really had a good time.  That is until she somehow managed to shove her straw through the side of her water cup and drain most of the water out of the cup onto the floor while Natalie and Oliver were headed for the door.

We stopped for a quick photo op with the Archbold Buckeye mascot behind the newspaper office.  Natalie looks a little less than smiley in this pic as she fell on the curb on the short walk from Mom's Diner to visit the bear.  Not only did she skin her knee, but she managed to cut her finger on the pizza box she was carrying.  Needless to say the contents of the pizza box- a cheesey breadstick, 1/2 of a grilled cheese sandwich, a piece of cheese pizza, a couple of bite of a hamburger, and some random french fries-got a little mixed up.

Mom was starting to think it could turn out to be a really long week.  All this after the graduation party we thought was Saturday night turned out to be on  Sunday thus ruining our dinner plans.
