Another random post

Real Dad returned in time for Father's Day festivities and Mom's work weekend.

We did save one last culinary creation for him though.  For those of you who possibly have never experienced this, you are truly missing out, this is monkey bread.  And yes we did cover our monkey bread in cream cheese frosting just for Father's Day.  This is no ordinary, Pillsbury refrigerator biscuit dough monkey bread.  This monkey bread was made completely from scratch with extra portions of our secret ingredient, l-o-v-e.

From the looks of it we think Dad enjoyed his breakfast.

On other breakfast fronts...we have another pancake fan in our house.

And we've put C on her very own chore chart.  She's in charge of sweeping and mopping any solid surface flooring in the house.  Check out this onsie.  Maybe we need to work on sweeping a little more often or eating a little neater.

We went to the beach this weekend since we missed out on the wedding of the summer because we didn't want to spread our infectious diseases with anyone who hadn't already been exposed.  We parked C in the shade when we went to the beach.  I'm not sure she appreciated that we didn't let her go swimming.

The Grandmas freed her from her confines and let her play with rocks.

Tessa posed with her before we headed back to the house.

Oliver dug a few holes on the beach.

The new playpen.
