Stryker Summer Fest

Last weekend we headed to Stryker for some Summer Fest fun.  We started our day at the Legion hall for a yummy breakfast extravagaza.  After filling up on everything breakfast we took a tour of Main Street and found a bounce house with no line.

As it was still early we were the only ones bouncing and sliding.  Dad managed to get some action shots at the end of the slide.

After we had our fill of sliding we visited the community park for some swinging and more sliding.  Even C got in on this action.

Then we took up our place on the curb to wait for every 5 year-old little boys dream parade.  It involved a LOT of fire trucks, police cars, and several tractors.  Almost every municipality in Williams County was represented with some sort of flashing light.

Natalie got in some reading while Tessa hammed it up before the parade.

We sat on the north side of town and during the parade a train came through.  This left some time for a photo op with the Dum-dums guy and a round of "Barbara Ann" by the Stryker band.

Our neighbor Mr. Ken loves to show off his tractor in parades.

This guy has the only tractor train we've ever seen.  The only thing that might have made it more amazing is if it involved Olivers.

The loot.  Being a Williams County parade everyone was tossing out Dum-dums.  This stash should last us at least until next year.
